Coat: Club Monaco (similar) / Sweater: Urban Outfitters / Denim: Mother / Shoes: Barneys / Sunglasses: Rayban / Bag: Celine

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving :)
Since it’s actually starting to get cold I can finally start piling on the layers! I absolutely love this blush pink coat I got from Club Monaco last year, and just blush coats in general. The color is so chic and unexpected for the winter time.
I also love all the textures combined in this outfit. It brings the relative neutralness of it an interesting and cozy twist.
If there is one thing I’ve learned about purchasing coats in the past few years, it’s that it will always be worth it if the coat is going to keep you warm. Nowadays even if I absolutely love a coat, if it’s not going to keep me warm it’s not worth the suffering in the cold. I love that this coat is so cute and still protects me from the cold. Fashionable and functional!
I can’t wait until it starts snowing in NYC and I can start posting more cold weather outfits like this one! :)

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday! Since I’m home in Colorado and its muuuuuch colder than it is in New York, I thought I’d do a post on winter accessories. I brought almost all my hats and scarfs home with me!
I often forget about wearing sunglasses during the winter time and it ends up being so bright out! I am dying to get these Dior ones but I also really love the pink Karen Walker pair too. I am also definitely getting this Free People scarf because I love chunky knits and its such a great price. It also comes in a few other colors as well!
Have a happy Thanksgiving! :)

Chambray: Club Monaco / Bralette: Free People / Denim: Rag and Bone / Boots: Stuart Weitzman / Scarf: Madewell / Sunglasses: Quay / Bag: Stella McCartney

Happy Monday and happy Thanksgiving week! I am so excited about this short week and to fly home tomorrow!
Today I am featuring a great outfit with lots of classic items that everyone has in their closet, and a couple that I’ve featured before!
I love this chambray button down from Club Monaco, it’s actually so soft and really comfy. I love wearing it either buttoned or open with something else underneath! Also, Rag and Bone is a great place to go for some quality denim that will last. I am obsessed this black pair of skinnies I got a few months ago; they don’t stretch or fade.
Pairing them with my chambray and a statement scarf just felt right! Along with my Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots that I’ve owned since last winter and that I live in. Not only are they super cute and durable but they keep you super warm as well. You can wear them with tights and a skirt also to dress them up a little!
I hope this inspires you to put together some old classics in a new way! See you on Wednesday!

Trench: Jack Wills (similar) / Top: Madewell / Scarf: Madewell / Denim: Mother / Flats: Chloe / Bag: Celine / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Friday! This week has been so stressful, so I am very excited for the weekend and Thanksgiving!
Today’s outfit post is all about re-wearing and reinventing pieces in your wardrobe that you love. One thing that I really want to promote through my blog is that it’s okay to wear pieces more than once and create a whole new vibe with a different outfit but the same piece.
I’m doing that today by wearing my favorite trench coat again. I wore this trench in my first post and that outfit was very different compared to this one. This vibe is so much more feminine and soft here, while my first post outfit with this trench was a lot more edgy and dark.
I love this color combination and I think it’s a great way to put something cute together; everyone has these colors in their wardrobe!
I hope this inspires you to re-wear some of your favorite parts of your wardrobe–especially your investment pieces! :)

Side note about this scarf–it’s actually a map of New York! I thought it was so cute and got it right before I moved to NYC and it felt perfect.

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday!
Today is all about black booties for the Fall/Winter. During the cold seasons I am addicted to my black booties. I find myself wearing a lot of black jeans, leggings, and tights during this time which all pair perfectly with black booties. They are definitely an essential staple for your wardrobe.
Even in the warmer months you can pair your black booties with a cute skirt or shorts. I love mine with some tights and a sweater dress–such a comfy and easy outfit to throw on that still looks stylish.
I also really like a thicker heel because they’re so much more comfortable, and make wearing them the whole day a lot more realistic, and a thinner heel for something more formal!
I know I will be growing my collection of black booties this Fall and I hope this inspires you to do the same! :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Sweater: Club Monaco / Skirt: BCBG / Booties: Club Monaco / Sunglasses: Madewell / Bralette: Free People

With the warm weather in New York, and in plenty of other places, this outfit is totally appropriate. It’s always difficult to dress when its warm with a cold breeze. A great solution is combining warm and cold weather pieces.
I paired my cashmere sweater with this cute mini skirt not only because the pinks in each matched perfectly, but also because it was practical for the coldish warm weather.
Also, having a great pair of nude colored booties in your wardrobe is a must. They go with everything. I love this pair and I am constantly throwing them on to tie an outfit together.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!

Chambray Shirt: Club Monaco / Skirt: Marc Jacobs (similar) / Bralette: Free People / Heels: Christian Louboutin / Sunglasses: Rayban

So this is definitely a warm-weather outfit, but I just couldn’t resist posting it because I am obsessed with this skirt from Marc Jacobs’s Spring 2015 collection. When I first got it, I knew it would look so cute with a white crop top, but I thought that was too easy and obvious to pair it with. I wanted to go for something bolder and unexpected, so I tried it on with my chambray button down and I loved it. I’m also not one to pair black shoes with an outfit that has no black anywhere else, but I felt like it just worked with my Louboutins.
I’m excited to work this skirt into my cold-weather wardrobe because I know I’ll be wearing it for a long time :)

Happy Friday!

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday!

Every Wednesday I will be posting about the latest trends in fashion.

Today is all about Fall neutrals! It would be an understatement to say that I am obsessed with everything camel colored during the Fall season. For years I have been in search of the perfect camel coat, and I only just found it a few weeks ago (which I will be posting about later!). I think the color is so chic especially when combining it with other Fall colors like burgundy, emerald, and black. Any outfit looks more sophisticated with the right amount of camel added.

I decided to throw together some of my favorite camel picks to show that it can actually be very versatile and you can add it to any different piece of clothing you like. I hope it inspires you to throw in a little bit of my favorite Fall color to your wardrobe!

Shirt: H&M / Trench Coat: Jack Wills / Jeans: Rag & Bone / Boots: Alexander Wang / Bralette: Free People / Sunglasses: Rayban / Bag: Stella McCartney

Welcome to my first ever blog post! I am so excited to begin my long overdue journey into the world of fashion blogging. I hope I can bring fresh and original content that inspires my readers. Thank you so much for visiting my blog! Let’s get to it!

It has been weirdly warm in NYC lately so I’ve been finding myself throwing on my trench coat for whenever the chilly breeze hits. I got this trench from the British retailer Jack Wills last year and it fits me perfectly. It’s a classic color and cut which is what makes trench coats always a great staple for your wardrobe.
The plaid button down is actually my boyfriend’s from H&M. I really like it’s oversized fit which makes it super comfy.
I paired my Free People bralette underneath which gives this men’s button down a nice feminine touch.
I have been obsessed with these Alexander Wang boots that I got for the Fall/Winter season. They’re so cool and unique and I always get compliments on them! You’ll definitely be seeing me wear them a lot! haha
I love combining expensive pieces with everyday, more affordable items.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Monday!!
