Happy Friday!
This outfit was inspired by Kendall Jenner. I saw her wearing a sweatshirt under a leather jacket and I loved it so I decided to try my own version of it :)
I love getting outfit inspo from anywhere I can, especially from my style icons like Olivia Palermo, Arielle Charnas, and Diane Kruger.
I also love that this outfit is so simple and easy to put together. Everyone has a sweatshirt and a leather jacket, it’s just a matter of putting them together in a way you haven’t tried before :)
See you Monday!

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday!
So I really needed this post haha because I am in a serious sunglasses rut! I need a new pair asap, I feel like I keep wearing the same ones.
I’ve been dying to invest in the Dior ‘So Real’ glasses but they are a tad on the expensive side so I’m going to wait! My favorite sunglasses brand right now are Karen Walker and Illesteva. My next sunglass purchase will most likely be the black Karen Walkers!
It’s also super important when sunglass shopping to know which shape and color work best for your face. It took me a long time to discover this because I couldn’t resist what was cool at the moment like huge glasses. Well huge glasses just don’t look good on my face because I have a smaller face! My face is also more of an oval or heart so a cat eye also suites me.
Because I am so fair skinned any colored sunglasses have to be a light color and preferably pink!
Next time you are on the look out for some new sunnies try to keep in mind these tips and they should steer you towards the best look for you :)
See you Friday!

Coat: Superdry (similar here & here) / Dress: Nordstrom / Boots: Stuart Weitzman / Bag: Celine / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Monday!
Before all of the city was covered in snow! I loooove sweater dresses so this one was a great add to my wardrobe because of the versatile color. Originally I just paired it with the boots alone but I felt like I needed a coat to go with it and I was just going to wear this navy one to the shoot and take it off later, but I actually really liked it all together.
The cream, navy, and wine colors surprisingly all worked really well together. This color combo is just so different and unexpected and I loved it.
I bought this coat one night when I was running around the city and it got unexpectedly cold but I couldn’t head home to grab a coat so I just picked this one up in a rush! I ended up really liking it and now I wear it all the time! It’s super warm because it’s wool buuuut that also means that the wool attracts everything so the coat gets so linty (which you will see in future posts haha).
A navy coat is always a good piece to have in your arsenal.
See you Wednesday!

Coat: Club Monaco / Turtleneck: Forever 21 (similar here) / Vest: White House Black Market (similar here) / Denim: Mother / Booties: Alexander Wang / Bag: Chloe / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Friday!
It has been absolutely freezing in NYC these past couple of days as we prepare for a huge blizzard, so this outfit is definitely appropriate for the cold weather.
I got this really cool vest on sale at White House Black Market. I haven’t really had an interest in their store in the past because I feel like their clothes are a little mature for me, but their recent collections have been super cool! I have been a lifelong fan of vests and they have a bunch of great vests available so I loved it!
This vest is actually supposed to be a dress, as it is pretty long, but I felt like it was so cool looking with the ripped jeans and gave it more of an edge.
I paired it with a turtleneck which made it cold weather appropriate and threw in a pop of blush with my favorite bag at the moment, the Chloe Drew Bag that went along with the rose gold in my booties.
The different dimensions of this outfit is what I think gives it that stylish edge and separates it from a boring, all black outfit. Try experimenting with different textures and dimensions in a single toned outfit!
See you Monday!
Stay warm :)

Leggings: Adidas by Stella McCartney / Shoes: Nike / Water bottle: KOR / Socks: Nike / Towel: Nordstrom / Earbud case: Mark & Graham / Sports bra: Lovers + Friends / Jacket: Adidas

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday!
Wearing cute gym clothes always motivates me more when going to the gym. I always wear leggings along with a jacket and sports bra. I never really like to wear anything short sleeved, I just feel like the long sleeves are so much more comfortable!
Lovers + Friends just came out with a super cute activewear line and this sports bra is my favorite piece! I can’t wait to get it :)
See you Friday!

Poncho: Club Monaco / Turtleneck: Forever 21 (similar here) / Denim: Banana Republic / Heels: Madewell / Bag: Stella McCartney / Sungalsses: Rayban

Happy Monday!
For a long time I’ve been wanting to blog about this poncho because I love it so much, but I would usually just wear it with black skinny jeans and my tall black boots. I felt like it was pretty boring and wanted to step it up for the blog and because the poncho is just so cool.
I didn’t really think the emerald heels and gray denim would work well but I put it together and I really loved it. All the colors work so well with each other and I feel that the heel gives an edge this outfit needs because the poncho is so large and almost over-bearing.
Ponchos are so cool and if you are scared of them, don’t be, they are so easy to pull off and really stylish and warm. You’ll surprise yourself even just trying one on! :)
See you Wednesday :)

Coat: Club Monaco / Sweater: Forever 21 (similar here) / Skirt: White House Black Market (similar here) / Boots: Stuart Weitzman / Bag: Chloe / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Friday!
Today’s outfit wasn’t necessarily inspired by Gossip Girl, but when I put it together I felt like I could fit right in on the show haha.
When I first got these boots, it was a risk because I loved the style and the feel so much that I knew I would be able to wear them all the time, but I also loved this wine color so much, so I wasn’t sure if I would be able to wear them as much as I wanted to, because the color is so different. I put together one outfit in my mind that I knew I would be able to wear them with, so I got them. I totally surprised myself with how much I wear these boots. I put them on all the time with all kinds of different outfits. One of my favorites is just wearing some dark colored denim, a cream sweater, and these boots. It’s so comfy and casual and really dresses the boots down so you can feel comfortable wearing them during the day.
When I saw this skirt, though, I knew it would go so well with the boots. It’s always a risk when you wear thigh-high boots with a skirt, but because the rest of the outfit is so conservative, and the skirt was pretty long, it worked out really well.
Don’t be afraid of thigh-high boots, you might surprise yourself! Take risks and wear what you want.
See you Monday!

Happy #WednesdayTrendsday!
Today I thought I’d highlight one of my favorite designers right now, Isabel Marant. Her clothes have such a cool, city girl vibe while still being down to earth. I also love that, although her prices resemble the “designer” title, they are much more attainable than clothing from other designers.
I hope I can add a little more Isabel Marant to my wardrobe in the future :)

Sweater: Zara (similar here & here) / Denim: Mother / Sneakers: Nike / Bag: Chloe / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Monday!
Most of my outfits really focus on a great color combo and I think thats what really makes this outfit. Its pretty simple: just a sweater, jeans, and sneakers, but the colors are so pretty and work so well together that it takes the outfit to another level.
Second comes the textures. Since the texture of the sweater is really present, I wanted to offset it by the clean white denim. Then the blush pink from the bag pulls it all together.
Next time you’re getting dressed, try an focus on the color combination of your outfit first, and see how my method works for you! :)
See you Wednesdayyyyy :)

Crop: Club Monaco (similar here & here) / Skirt: BCBG (similar here & here) / Booties: Club Monaco / Sunglasses: Rayban / Bag: Celine

Happy Fridayyyy!
Today I thought I’d show off a look on how to wear your crop tops during the winter. Obviously this is more of a crop sweater so it was a little more appropriate for the weather, but nevertheless, you can still wear your crop tops during the colder months!
The key is to balance your crop top with a more conservative bottom. Here I paired mine with a longer pencil skirt. You can also pair your crop top with some high waisted denim or high waisted shorts and tights.
I love crop sweaters during the winter time. Sometimes with my crop sweaters I wear a simple white silk cami underneath so I can wear my low rise jeans with them, and it looks super cute that way too!
I couldn’t resist throwing on my favorite camel coat with this outfit :) it just went so perfectly!
So I have owned these nude booties forever and have completely torn them upppp! I need to lay off the Club Monaco (obviously haha) so are there any suggestions as to where to get some cute nude booties? Much appreciated :)
Hope this inspires you to break back out your favorite crop tops :)
See you Monday!
