Tee: James Perse / Sweater: I Love Mr. Mittens / Bandeau: Free People / Denim: Banana Republic / Sneakers: Nike / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Friday!
I discovered this amazing Australian brand called I Love Mr. Mittens and it was all my chunky knit dreams come true. I was so excited to get this cardigan and now I wear it over everything. It’s always great to have a piece like this for those chilly spring days.
I paired it with my light grey denim and sneakers for a laid back almost sporty look. I really like these Nikes also because they’re so versatile you can really wear them with anything.
Yay see you Monday! :)

Happy Wednesday (Thursday) Trendsday!
Just a round up of some of my favorite spring trends and styles today. I especially love off the shoulder tops and I am always in my white denim. Anything neutral or blush is my favorite. Also I’m obsessed with chunky heels…they’re soooo comfy!

Blazer: Zara (similar here & here) / Top: Anthropologie / Denim: Mother / Shoes: J. Crew / Sunglasses: Rayban / Bag: Chloe

Happy Monday!
It’s finally starting to be consistently warm in NYC and it is soooo nice! There are blossoming tulips and cherry blossoms all around the city so I was really feeling the spring vibe when I got this blazer from Zara.
Zara’s most recent collection is super amazing. I’ve been a fan of Zara for a while but nothing that I really loved until this collection and this blazer. There are so many great and unique pieces so if you’re out shopping around don’t miss it :)
I also have to mention this button down. The last simple white button down (closet staple) I owned was silk and it got ruined really fast so I had been on the hunt for a replacement. I found this one at Anthropologie and even though it was a little on the expensive side I had to get it because the texture of the fabric is amazing. It is so nice and soft along with a great fit so if you’re looking to add this essential to your closet, I definitely recommend this one!
Wearing such a bold print is pretty different for me. I usually stick to neutrals and no prints haha but I really loved how this blazer was so spring-y and pretty. The key is to let a statement piece be a statement piece. Nothing else that I’m wearing really takes away from the blazer, so it can be front and center. It’s not always easy styling bold patterns, so if you’re new to it like me, try pairing it with simple, muted pieces :)
See you Wednesday!

Ten hours later…back home in NYC!

Happy Friday!
I have been wanting to do this post for a while now. About a month ago I got the opportunity to go to Hawaii. I was soooo excited, especially to get away from the NYC cold for a bit, but there was a catch; I would be there alone for the first five days until the rest of my family arrived.
I honestly did not care that I was going to be all by myself, but when I started telling people about my upcoming solo trip, some were skeptical…what was I going to do all by myself?
I am a huge advocate for being self sufficient and independent. Why would I pass up this amazing vacation just because no one could go with me? Of course I would go! It was a little nerve-racking arriving by myself, but I was having the time of my life once I settled in. I did not let the fact that I was alone hold me back from doing what I wanted. I went to the pool and the spa, had amazing meals out, and walked all around the town of Lahaina.
Staying at the Hyatt Regency Resort Maui by myself was the best decision and I would go back immediately. If you ever have the opportunity to travel somewhere solo I highly recommend it. If you really want to go and experience somewhere new don’t let anyone hold you back! Your happiness is up to you and I guarantee you will enjoy a little alone time :)

I’ve linked below some of my favorite vacation style picks below including some pieces I wore running all around Lahaina :)
