A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.

Happy Monday!
This is my spin on the classic jeans and tee look. I added the necklace to give it an extra edge. I’ve had this necklace for a while and I love it. I go in phases of wearing it with everything. It’s such a small thing that will totally elevate any look.
See you Wednesdayyyy!

Happy Wednesday Trendsdaaaaay!
I’ve been saying I have wanted to do something a little different for Wednesday Trendsday so here it is! This is my recipe for my absolute favorite acai smoothie. I literally make this every morning. It is sooo yummy and on top of that, super healthy!

Here are your ingredients:

1 package frozen acai smoothie mix (I like the brand Amafruits)
1/3 cup mixed berries
Half a banana
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (my favorite is Dannon Light & Fit)
Handful of spinach
1/2 cup of vanilla almond milk (I like to use Almond Breeze)
Handful of ice

Throw it all in the blender! This smoothie is great also if you’re craving something sweet or just something cold for a hot day! I make this every morning and dump it in my thermos to enjoy while on the subway.
I hope you like my version of an acai smoothie! And that it’ll add a little something to look forward to in the morning :) Thats definitely what it is for me!
Also, check out some cute kitchen things I threw together below :)
See you Friday!

*try and get ingredients that are sugar/fat free or unsweetened; I learned the hard way that although a yogurt may be fat free, it can still contain a ton of sugar, but the brand I mentioned above is great!

Happy Fridayyy!
I hope this look gives you some inspo for the very hot weekend ahead of us :) aaaand its a combo of a few of my favorite colors, blush, white, and army green.
I love this skirt from H&M, although its a little more than I typically would spend on something from H&M, I can tell that it is actually well made and I will definitely keep it in my wardrobe for a while :)
My boyfriend and I are planning a bike ride and picnic down to the Brooklyn Bridge Pier this weekend, which you will most likely see on my insta :) hope you are planning something fun toooooo!
See you Monday!!

Happy Wednesday Trendsday!
Today I am featuring my four favorite lip sticks/glosses that you can find in my purse all the time.

1. Chanel Ultra Hydrating Lip Color in Rouge Coco

If you’re going to go for a bold red lip, it’s always a good idea to have the best version of it on hand. I love this lipstick because its super hydrating but still long lasting. I also use the Chanel Precision Lip Definer lip liner in Scarlet to make sure it does’t look messy. This is the only red lip I have in my bag :)

2. Kylie Lip Kit

Honestly I just bought these solely to see if all the hype lived up to reality, and actually, it did. I first purchased Kylie’s lip kit in Candy K along with it’s corresponding lip liner to see what it was all about, and it turns out I really loved it. These are genuinely great matte lipsticks and I find myself wanting to wear them all the time. They are truly long lasting, even after eating and drinking they may only require a small touch up. After this realization I then purchased my second lip kit in Posie K. I don’t always use the lip liner though, it makes the actual color a lot darker looking so I only break out the liner on a night out or if I’m feeling extra bold. Definitely worth the 30 bucks.

3. Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment

This lip balm I probably use everyday. The reason I love it is because it is actuaaaal lip balm. It really hydrates your lips and keeps them hydrated for hours after. On top of that it has SPF which I really love since the sun has been my enemy my whole life. Although the color is called Nude it has a really pretty light pink tint that goes well with my fair complexion. These come in a bunch of different colors and I will definitely be trying them out in the near future!

4. NARS Satin Lip Pencil

I’m not even sure what to call these because they’re not a lipstick, not a gloss or a balm, and even though they’re called a pencil they definitely do not act as one. I got these as a Sephora gift from earning points, so I was really shocked by how much I liked them; I never tend to like the little gifts at Sephora for some reason haha. But these are essential because they’re a mix of everything. If you feel like a little color but don’t want to commit to a matte or want the shininess of a gloss these are definitely the way to go.

See you Fridaaaay! :)

Jacket: Unif (similar here) / Tee: Vintage / Denim: H&M / Heels: Stuart Weitzman / Bag: Stella McCartney / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Mondaaaaay!
I love this look, I feel like it’s so New York. Graphic tee + high waisted, destroyed denim + leather jacket is like the go to look for New York girls haha. I don’t usually wear these heels (which are now on sale) with denim but I really liked how their femininity off-set the grunge of the tee and jacket.
I’ve linked below some other graphic tees I think are super cute, since you can’t get this Yeezy shirt anymore :(
See you Wednesday Trendsday! I’m thinking something different this time around…

Dress: Madewell / Shoes: H&M / Bag: Free People / Bandana: Madewell (similar here & here) / Sunglasses: Rayban

Happy Wednesday!
After a long month of traveling all around, I am finally back home in my Brooklyn apartment!
I bought this bandana on a whim when I was really going to get this dress, but they looked so cute together and it was really cheap I went for it. It’s definitely not something that I normally add to an outfit, but I have been surprising myself with it lately! I really like it just tied to this bag too or with a white button down; definitely worth the extra couple of bucks :)
