Happy Saturday!

Its SO beautiful in NYC today! Except all I am doing is work and cleaning haha!

I hate when my house is messy it just makes me feel so unproductive haha. Anywayyyy I am obsessed with this top! I actually got asked where it was from by someone on the street when we were shooting this look haha!

C/MEO is an Australian brand I have been following for a while but never actually owned anything from. I saw this top though and I haaaad to have it. The straps are removable if you want to go strapless, and you can’t really tell in this photo but there are slits up the sides! Its a bit pricey but sooo worth it because the quality is amazing.

I’ll def be purchasing more from C/MEO in the future! Such cute stuff.

See you Monday for a fun one!

Happy Monday!!

I flew home early this morning from Michigan after visiting my dad and baby sister! It was so nice to be in a small town haha and to drive. Its the little things! But its back to the grind on three hours of sleep. Two more weeks until graduation you guys.

Okaaaaay so I’ve been seeing these weird sites going around (I’m sure you have too) based in China (I think?) and they like steal photos of cute clothes from other outlets and sell versions on their website for like $8 or something really cheap. I’ve obviously been pretty skeptical of these even though some of the pieces they were selling looked so cute! It was only when I saw this top by a brand called Petersyn that was soooo similar to this top but it was more than $300! I had seen other bloggers tag this site, Chichwish in their posts and what they were wearing looked legit so I decided to take the plunge on this look alike top.

To my surprise it is pretty good quality! I’ve heard horror stories of clothes like smelling horrible and weird colors so I was very happy with what I got! The only thing is that the sizing was kind of off. The off the shoulder sleeve was sooooo tight on my arm I literally lost feeling after a few hours hahah so I decided to cut it! Once I did that it was definitely more wearable.

Another weird thing was that it took suuuuuper long to get to me. Like after three weeks of hearing literally nothing (I got a confirmation email so I knew they received my order, but no notice of shipping) I decided to email their customer service. Only after I emailed them did they ship it. Makes me wonder if I had never emailed them, would I not have gotten what I ordered?

Overall, I’ll probably order from them again if I see something I love. They’re too affordable not to, but if the shipping is weird again or something else happens, I may not in the future. But I definitely love this top :)

See you Wednesday!

Happy Friday!!

I know I always say this but so happy its finally the weekend!! Haha just two more weeks until graduation and my life can finally go back to normal.

I actually got this button down on super sale from Scotch & Soda and its a men’s shirt! I am suuuuch a sucker for anything blue and white striped though so I had to get it. Now that its getting warmer though I’ll wear it open with a cute top underneath!

Alsoooo I am leaving tomorrow morning for Michigan randomly to see my baby sister! So excited to see her and experience some small town life haha.

See you on Monday!

Happy (end of) Monday!!

Yay we got through another Monday you guys. I saw this tee and loved it but I didn’t buy it the first time I saw it. It was so simple and pretty but lavender is not a color that I have probably ever worn so I was a bit hesitant! A few days later though I was still thinking about it plus it was pretty affordable I decided to go for it! I have worn it with a few different looks since and love it. The fabric is really soft and thin so it will be perfect when it gets unbearable hot out.

See you Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday Trendsday!

Honestly this is just my wish list of pieces for spring haha. I love everything on here especiallyyyy those Aquazurra velvet heels! Ugh to die. Who knew velvet could work in warm months?!

Also I’m weirdly into midi dresses this spring which I never have been before. After seeing this Mara Hoffman one I’ve been obsessed! Definitely need to invest.

What’s on your spring wish list?

See you Friday!

Happy Monday!

It is super hooooot in NYC today! There’s like one day when we have mild spring weather then it’s so so hot until winter again! I got these boots from my sister for Christmas and I have been obsessed with them ever since. I wear them all time time because they’re so comfy, but more importantly super cute! haha

I definitely don’t want to give them up just because its super warm out now! So this is such a good solution. I’ll be pairing these boots with cute skirts and dresses all spring long. If you have over-the-knee boots you love, try pairing them with your fave summer dress.

See you Wednesday!

Dress: Faithfull the Brand

Happy Saturday!

Life really is better at the beach. I keep telling myself that the grass is always greener on the other side and I do love living in New York, but some days when I’m packed into a subway or running around the city in the freezing rain, I wonder why I don’t live in an easier and beautiful place. I would love to at least try living there, like maybe three months then move back to NYC or somewhere else. I have always been interested in living in so many different places around the world, like what would life be like if I lived in Paris or Italy? That’s part of the reason I wanted to live in NYC so bad – to experience life here. But over the years and the past few trips to Hawaii my heart has been wondering what a tropical lifestyle would be like. We’ll see! Anything is possible.

I felt like the Little Mermaid in this dress haha and wore it multiple times in Hawaii! It was soooo comfortable and easy to throw on for any occasion. Faithfull the Brand is a line I’ve been following for a few years now and always wanted to invest in! They’re so tropical-y that when I knew I was going to Hawaii it was definitely time; though I’ll for sure be wearing this dress around NYC when it gets super hot! Can’t wait.

I’m so excited for the year ahead – there’s many things in the works as I start this new phase in my life after college, I hope you’ll follow along!

See you Monday :) (for sure this time haha)

Happy Wednesday Trendsday on a Thursday!

So you might have seen me wearing no. 3 in a Hawaii post a few days ago. While I was researching the top for that post I came to realize the brand Style Mafia has a ton more super cute pieces that are pretty affordable! The reason I love them is because they are almost exactly my style haha with all the cool structural details, big sleeves, stripes, and colors, investing in more pieces was hard to resist! Haha I definitely will be picking up a few more of these cool and unique items.

I love making these discoveries, there’s nothing better than finding a brand that truly speaks to your fashion soul.

See you tomorrow!

Dress: J.O.A / Espadrilles: Soludos / Bag: Cult Gaia / Sunglasses: J. Crew

Happy Monday!

I’m back in NYC and here to stay! I’ve been doing so much traveling lately but I do wish I was still sipping coconut water between hanging bananas in Hawaii!

This dress is so cute and comfy I can’t wait for it to be warm enough in NY to wear it! Plus I am loving ruffled one shoulder tops and dresses lately.

I’ve got a busy week ahead of me but some exciting things in the works! See you Wednesday :)
