Happy Wednesday Trendsday!

Okay so everyone knows that orange is a generally hated color and I definitely believed that up until just a few weeks ago! Buuuut I started seeing it everywhere and once I saw this look on Selena Gomez and this one on Kendall Jenner I was convinced. Orange is the color of the summer.

This is definitely a scary color to commit to haha but my advice would be that if you love something, wear it! But if you want to take baby steps into this trend, try adding the color to your wardrobe in small doses like in both of these amazing pairs of earrings and those super cute Sam Edelman flats. You’ll surprise yourself!

See you Friday :)

Happy Tuesday!!

I am back in NYC and it is very chilly here! I don’t know what is going on but it definitely feels more like October than the end of May and I am not happy about it! Haha

So you have definitely seen these floral pants before (because I am obsessed with them) but I never thought to pair them with another fave trend of mine: ruffled off-the-shoulder. I honestly just threw this look on and am so glad I did because I would have never thought to pair these pieces together! I also cannot wait to wear this cute crop top with some high-waisted denim and skirts. It will be perfect for when it finally feels like summer in NYC! Check out some more perfect summer crop tops and a ton of other cute and affordable pieces on

See you tomorrow!!

Happy Friday!!!!!

Today is definitely a great day because I am headed to Disneyland!! If you didn’t know I am a die-hard Disneyland fan and I haven’t been in almost two years, so I decided that I would make it my mission to have an entire weekend dedicated to Dland. So when one of my best friends from high school told me that she had a few days off in LA before she starts her full time job we made last minute plans for Disneyland! I flew here from NYC yesterday and am so excited to spend a couple days in the happiest place on earth :)

Anywaaaaay! When I saw this dress in Club Monaco I just about died and knew I had to invest. It’s so me (blue & white stripes duh) and so comfortable and fun to wear. The dress has such amazing movement that just walking down the street makes you feel so glamorous haha. After I discovered the dress I decided to do some more research on the brand MDS Strips, which I had not yet heard of. Not surprisingly, so many of their pieces I became obsessed with. I linked a bunch of the ones I love below so you can explore the brand too :)

See you on Monday!

Happy Wednesday Trendsday!

Omg yesterday I got sooo sick and was out of commission the whole day! I went to the doctor but nothing was wrong thankfully, and I just slept all day. I’m feeling better now though thank goodness!! Especially because I have a fun weekend trip planned!

Anyway, today I was running errands in Soho and passed by the Linda Farrow store. I def want to invest in a pair of Linda Farrow sunglasses sometime in my near future, but it inspired me to round up all my fave sunnies I’ll be wearing throughout the summer!

Can you tell I’m a fan of rose colored sunglasses? Haha they just pair really well with someone who has a fair complexion, but I definitely still love my dark sunnies like those black aviators!

See you Friday :)

Happy Monday!

So I made an impulsive splurge yesterday on some shoes I have been obsessed with for a while. I had seen an amazing photo of these blush velvet Aquazurra sandals on Pinterest a while back and did some pretty extensive research trying to find them! Haha so when I got my regular email from Intermix I was so excited to see them in their collection of new arrivals! I thought about it for a few days then when I was running around yesterday I was near an Intermix so I thought I’d go in and see them in person. After trying them on I was hooked and knew it would be a worth while splurge! I got the last size seven and wore them to the movies with my boyfriend that night. I was sad it was rainy all day today because I couldn’t wear them again! Haha

It’s always nerve-wracking to splurge big time on anything especially shoes!! But I put myself in Carrie Bradshaw’s shoes (literally) and went for it knowing I could always return them if I felt buyer’s remorse. As long as you feel confident in your love for the piece and are in a good place financially I would say go for it. My biggest guideline though is remembering to think, will I still be wearing these shoes or this bag in 5 or 10 years? If you feel you will, treat yourself!

Something similar happened with these pants – that email marketing really gets me! Haha but I also get emails from Reformation and literally bought these pants right away after seeing them. They’re everything I love! High-waisted, blue and white stripes, whimsical, and fashion-forward. I tried them on with a few different tops, but since the waist is so high I had to wear something really fitted on top; it just looked bad if the top was even slightly baggy. So I literally bought a fitted tee for these pants. It was cheap so I didn’t think twice and I’ve actually worn the tee a few times since! Cannotttt wait to wear both pieces the rest of the summer.

See you Wednesday!

Happy Monday!!

It’s the beginning of a crazy week here in NYC! I am graduating from NYU on Tuesday and couldn’t be more excited. A bunch of my family is flying in the next couple of days so I can’t wait to see everyone!

I’ve worn these jeans in a few blog posts now and obviously I am obsessed with them. I always get compliments on them. They are definitely the most expensive pair of jeans I own but honestly I would buy more pairs. The quality is just so good and they’re so flattering so I will definitely be on the hunt for another pair of GRLFRND denim soon!

Alsooooo maybe I was just unaware haha but Aerie has some super cute and affordable things!! So good for basics and more bohemian pieces. Def worth checking out! Plus they always have some pretty good sales.

See you Wednesday!!

Happy Monday!

I feel like I always start out my posts by complaining about the weather hahaha but it has been so annoying lately! It has literally felt like winter in the city the last week – cold and rainy and windy. Such a struggle! lol

Anyway, you may remember I bought this dress for my Hawaii trip back in March. It was pretty expensive so I knew when I bought it that I would have to use it for more than just laying by the pool. I love it with some skinny jeans its so flowy and has such great movement. Definitely its a bit hard to style because it is so flowy! To avoid drowning in this dress (or top in this case) off-set it with some form fitting pieces.

Can’t wait to keep wearing this when it gets warmer! Hopefully soon! haha

See you Wednesday :)

Jacket: Mother / Shirtdress: Tobi / Sandals: Guess (similar here & here) / Bag: Saint Laurent / Sunglasses: Le Specs

Happy Friday!

Yay almost the weekend!! It has been a downpourrrr in NYC today though so we’ll see about those weekend plans haha.

I’ve always been a fan of the shirtdress, mostly because you can wear it as a shirt and a dress haha and this one from is soooo easy to throw on and instantly look super cute. Since it’s been pretty chilly in nyc lately I’ve been finding myself putting it on with jeans and a cute jacket, which is another look I love: long tops! Definitely with skinny jeans or leggings, and if you’re not super tall, some sort of lifted shoe. Pieces that are long on your body can be a bit unflattering if you are on the shorter side, but heels are always flattering no matter what! Thats the motto.

See you on Monday! :)

Happy Wednesday!

I use Pinterest all the time haha anything I need inspo for or am unsure about, Pinterest is my savior. I will literally type in ‘navy blazer’ and see how other people styled their navy blazers so I can get inspo for how to style mine!

What I’m currently pinning though says a lot haha. I’m planning a big trip in September and that has been my main focus on Pinterest lately! I also have a few weddings coming up so I am searching a ton for some gowns to wear! I love this one here. Also, as graduation is coming up I need to get my house together haha so I am searching for some kitchen decor inspo! In our kitchen we have open shelving. Not all the shelves but a few cabinets and honestly since we moved in I haven’t figured out how to decorate them! I gave up for a time and we just put whatever up there haha but this next week I am focusing on getting it done for real this time! So I’ve been pinning some open shelving concept decor that I can hopefully emulate!

Anyway, if you haven’t followed me on Pinterest yet you should! I’m an avid pinner lol.

See you Friday!

Alsoooo below are some faves I’m eyeing this week

Tee: Club Monaco / Culottes: Tobi / Booties: DSW / Sunglasses: Le Specs / Bag: Saint Laurent

Happy Monday!

Omg I am soooo happy it is finally May!! I feel like April is always weirdly stressful haha.

When I worked at Club Monaco I would always make women try on culottes. I would seriously get the same response all the time, that they liked how the culottes looked on the mannequin, but didn’t think that they could pull it off themselves. Once they tried them on though their outlook completely changed. Every time. Culottes are too comfy and cute not to take advantage of them!

I love love these ones from Tobi. They’re so flattering and go with everything. Some tips for wearing culottes: try and wear a shoe with a heel to give yourself an elongated look so the pants don’t cut off your legs, wear something tighter on top to counterbalance the big flowy-ness of the pant, and try and keep your waist as slimmed as possible so the pants can be super flattering! def has some really cute tops and shoes to go with their culottes, plus they always have amazing deals on their site!

See you Wednesday :)
