Happy Friday!

Omg so close to Christmas I am so excited! I still have a bit of shopping left to do but I am actually looking forward to just shopping, wrapping presents, and going to Christmas parties haha.

I haaaad to get this jacket when I saw it at Anthro! Its so cute and super warm. I’ve been wearing it with everything but I really loved combining it with this casual Yeezy sweatshirt that is actually my boyfriend’s! What do you think of the sweatshirt and fur combo? I’m obsessed.

See you Monday! :)

Happy Wednesday Trendsday!

With a bunch of holiday parties and get togethers lately I’ve been Pinterest-ing a ton of holiday makeup looks. I’ve been loving all the shimmery and dewy makeup looks that use highlighters and minimal eyeliner. The rosy colored eye shadows are also my favorite.

The classic red lip and liquid liner look is also a favorite that I will definitely be wearing during the season. I really love this red Nars Lip Pigment.

Can’t wait to try all of these :)

See you Friday!

Sweater: Zara (similar here & here) / Denim: Paige / Boots: Stuart Weitzman / Sunglasses: ASOS / Bag: Louis Vuitton

Happy Monday!

Every year I look forward to breaking out these amaze Stuart Weitzman booties. They are such a classic – I’ll definitely be wearing these for years to come.

I definitely love the oversized sweater & thigh high boots combo as an outfit buuuut sometimes its not always that practical. Sometimes the sweater isn’t long enough to look like a dress and you end up looking like you’re just not wearing pants haha or its too cold to just wear a dress or too hot to wear a huge sweater soooooo this is my solution. Throw some skinny denim on and it’ll really pull the look together. I like either white or black denim but blue is still super cute.

Oversized sweater, skinny denim, & boots is such a good look and so flattering on every body type.

See you Wednesday!

Happy Friday!

I finally decided to do a gift guide! I know there are so many out there but I saw some of my friends searching for gifts for some people that are kind of hard to buy for! What I love is all of these gifts are affordable, appropriate and cute.

I loooove the merlot infused coffee I so want to try it haha and the silk pillow case looks so cool. All the benefits look amazing plus I bet its so nice to sleep on.

I would stick to something like an accessory or piece of clothing for your roommate. Definitely you can get her some things for the home but maybe stick to something specifically for her room – you don’t want to get her something that seems like you actually wanted it! Haha I also really love the personalized mugs. They’re supposed to be for families but I think it would be so cute to do it for you and your roommates.

For coworkers I think you should stick to things for the home and small accessories like earbuds or candles. I also really like the idea of the iPhone dock and the bowls! So cute.

You can also combine some of the smaller items to make a little personalized gift basket or if you want to get something for everyone in the office the little champagne bears are perf!

We’ve all been there when you’re kind of dating a guy and you want to get him a gift but you guys aren’t official yet so you don’t want to get him anything too big. If he loves whiskey these whiskey stones would be perfect. Or if he has a sweet tooth the waffle shots are adorable plus a fun activity to do together. The card holder or an inexpensive watch are also perfect if you’re unsure!

Happy Tuesday!

I’ve had this skirt for a bit and I have been obsessed! So much that I had to get the matching blazer. I’ve always loved the look of matching suiting especially in a pattern. The blazer also looks so cute with some light denim and this black top if you’re not feeling too matchy!

J. Crew’s winter collections have been awesome. So festive and cute I keep going back to their website for more lol.

Tomorrow we are headed to Mexico for Christmas festivities with my boyfriend’s family! Can’t wait!

See you tomorrow :)

Happy Friday!

Its been a long day of apartment hunting in LA! We looked at four buildings and were feeling pretty discouraged as we didn’t love the first three but thank goodness we loved the fourth! Definitely a contender as it checked off all our needs.

I’m excited for this weekend to spend it with friends and hang out by the beach! I bought this sweater from Gap which is not a place I usually shop buuuut they have been getting cuter lately plus they always have really good sales! This sweater is already on sale plus they are having a site-wide sale of 40% off! Def worth checking out :)

See you Monday!

Happy Monday!

I’m still recovering from my wisdom teeth surgery but am up and about so hopefully I’ll be back at 100% soon :)

I have been really good at my Christmas shopping though haha. I’m basically done with everyone – just a few more things here and there. I’m such a big gift giver its bad haha.

A few years ago I bought this coat – which is definitely a splurge – but I knew I would keep it forever. Every winter I look forward to breaking it out, its such a classic! Check out some more camel coats I linked below :)

See you Wednesday!

Happy Friday!

Today is not so happy for me though because I got my wisdom teeth out this morning! I am the absolute worst with doctors so I was a very nervous patient haha. But I got through it and I’m not in too much pain! So I’ll be spending the next couple of days watching Christmas movies and eating ice cream haha.

You may have noticed I wore these super cute Madewell pants when I was in Italy. I ordered them pretty last minute so I didn’t have time to return them or get them altered before we left and they were suuuuper long on me. I knew we’d be taking quite a few trains so I thought I’d just bring a small sewing kit and hem them myself! I am not an expert seamstress by any means but I can sew a few thing here and there so I was doing an okay job when I was working on them on the train from Milan to Florence. It was a pretty packed train and there was the cutest Italian grandma sitting across from me and she was watching as I sewed (which was pretty embarrassing considering she was probs amazing at sewing haha).

There is a specific technique to knot the thread when sewing but its kind of difficult and takes practice so I usually end up tying a bunch of knots at the end of my thread. Well she noticed I was doing it wrong and began to teach me how to tie a proper knot! She spoke no English so there was a lot of motioning and gestures but she was seriously the sweetest. And now my pants have proper knots in the threads! Haha seriously only in Italy! I will definitely never forget that experience.

See you Monday! Hopefully I’ll be looking a little less like a chipmunk by then haha.
