Happy Friday!

This entire look is brought to you by Positano haha. Every store sells linen clothing here so I had to get something. I don’t usually go for midi dresses but I’ve been liking them more lately so I decided to go for it. And how cute are these sandals! There is this famous sandal store in Positano with a bunch of amazing sandals so my sister & I decided to go. When I told the man I wanted this pair he was like “okay but those I have to make” and he sat down and started literally making my shoes haha. It was amazing and I loooove the sandals. Such a good memory I definitely recommend visiting his store if you ever come to Positano :)

See you on Monday back in NYC!!!

Happy Monday!!

OMG Lake Como was seriously one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. This trip is definitely one filled with gorgeous locations buuuut Lake Como has been my fave so far. We took a train from Milan and a ferry across the lake to stay three nights in a town called Menaggio on the lake. There are a few different towns around the lake so we tried to explore each one! The best was taking a boat tour and seeing the amazing villas and small towns from the lake. We also did a full day in the most famous town, Bellagio. It was so peaceful and beautiful there I would 100% go back.

The weather was actually pretty good while we were there so this chunky knit was the most helpful on the boats and during the nighttime! I am obsesseddddd with this knit though – it is huge and so comfy! I originally bought it a size medium so I could wear it as a dress but it just looked weird like I was pant-less haha so I stuck with some black skinnies!

Our trip is almost coming to an end with one more location coming up! Can’t wait :)

See you Wednesday!

Happy Saturday!

Omg I totally got my days mixed up in all this travel plus the time change hahaha.

How cute is this top!? Its actually a bodysuit from Zara and I love it. I realized I forgot black denim on my trip so I bought this super cheap pair at H&M and I actually kind of love them! They’re really stretchy but also form fitting which I love. I’ve been weaaaaaring out these gold booties. They’re so comfy and I find myself adding them to every look haha.

My sister and I took a day trip from Cannes to Monaco and it was amazingggg. I have always been intrigued by the country so I was so excited to go. Its super small and all on the side of a hill. There are incrediblyyyy fancy cars everywhere you look and the harbor is filled with yachts! We visited the Hotel de Paris, the Monte Carlo Casino and then trekked up to the Grimaldi Palace! The palace is in a completely different area and its so different from the rest of Monaco which is super high tech – this area is very European with small streets and ornate buildings. I’m sad we only discovered this as our day was coming to a close! If I ever go back I’ll definitely spend more time in this area.

My sister and I are headed out tonight in Florence, Italy! See you Monday :)

Top: Banana Republic / Skirt: J. Crew / Booties: Madewell / Bag: Louis Vuitton / Sunglasses: J. Crew

Happy Monday!

The town of Aix-en-Provence was so cute I was dying to shoot a look there! I diedddd over this skirt from J. Crew. Its so Fall and so cute. I ordered a size 4, my regular size and its just slightly large. Also the skirt is very structured so because its a bit big it kind of makes me look a little round! Haha struggle but I wasn’t sure if I went a size down if it would be too small since I ordered it online so I kept the 4 and left for Europe!

We Left Aix on Saturday and took the train to Cannes and we’ve been doing day trips from Cannes since! On Sunday we took a boat to Saint Tropez and it was amazingggg. Definitely my favorite place so far. Its really small and picturesque. Perfect to wander around and admire the pastel buildings and countless yachts.

Today we took the train to Nice and tomorrow we will be exploring Monaco before we leave France and head to Italy!

See you on Wednesday :)

Happy Friday!

I am in Europe! Yay!!

Today we are spending the day in a town called Aix-en-Provence in France. Its so cute and quintessential. My sister and I are going to explore some cafes and go to the studio of French painter Cezanne who was from here. Tomorrow we move on to Cannes where we will be for a few days to explore the towns on the southern coast of France. We are doing day trips to Saint Tropez, Nice, and Monaco before we head to Italy! Cannot wait. Follow along on my insta! :)

I had my eye on this sweater blazer for a bit and when I got an email from J. Crew that everything in the store was 30% off I had to go for it. I bought the sweater along with some shirts for my boyfriend when they informed me that the sweater was not part of the sale “because it’s so popular” #annoying but I went for it anyway cause its my fave color and I know I’ll wear it a ton!

There are soooo many sales going on right now! Be sure to check out Shopbop and I’m pretty sure J. Crew is still having a sale as well.

See you Wednesday :)

Dress: Lioness (similar here & here) / Booties: Stuart Weitzman / Sunglasses: Le Specs / Bag: Saint Laurent

Happy Monday!!

Omg how cute is this dress! I discovered this brand Lioness from Australia a while back. They are pretty affordable so I jumped at the chance to get this dress. The only downside is that it literally took almost a month for the dress to come!! Some of their pieces are sold on Revolve though which is always great shipping so maybe start there!

I have been running around doing last minute errands before I leave on Wednesday for Europe!! I am super excited but also kind of nervous! Its a pretty long trip with a lot of planning involved so hopefully everything goes smoothly :)

But I have all my outfits planned thats for sure!! Lolol

See you Wednesday for a hair tutorial! Yay!

wedtrend-houndstooth1

Love houndstooth! It is so chic and adds that touch of edge and to your look with a feeling of Fall. It can be difficult to pull off though. Less is more for sure. Simplify the rest of your look around your houndstooth piece. Technically these Madewell pants aren’t houndstooth, they’re windowpane, but they’re almost in the same category! Haha

I’ve already bought two pieces in this category! Can you guess which?

wedtrend-plaid1

Plaid! Obviously such a classic pattern for Fall and one I always look forward to breaking out. It just doesn’t feel as right wearing plaid at any other time of the year! You can’t go wrong with a plaid button down and I love this one from Madewell with the bow! The colors are so cute.

wedtrend-florals1

Dark florals are an unexpected pattern I am super into this Fall. I think if you add a pair of dark tights to any of these pieces it would be so cute and perfect for Fall. These pieces are also great options if you live in a warm area or if its just still warm out and you want to get into the Fall spirit! Haha

Happy Monday!

How amazing is this location? You would never guess its in the heart of the Financial District in Manhattan! Living in the city I feel like its so easy to forget that we live near the ocean! This was something I really wanted to make happen over the summer was to be near the water more often.

This area is behind the Brookfield Place Mall which is also amazing btw with an awesome food court. There are more restaurants lining the dock area and my boyfriend and I decided to have lunch at the PJ Clarke’s outside one day! It was so blissful beside the water with some delish frosé haha. I definitely recommend visiting this area and the mall – its so nice!

So this sweater is a boatneck sweater which I honestly don’t think I’ve ever owned a boatneck sweater before haha buuut the reason I bought it was because I saw a mannequin with it on in J. Crew wearing it off the shoulder. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be styled like that or if it just slipped down the mannequin haha but I loved the slouchy look so I went for it myself! I also I wear this sweater a lot just one shoulder like I did in this instagram. Its so cozy and comfy now I really want to buy more boatneck sweaters! Haha plus this one is on sale!! Def worth checking out if you’re looking for a slouchy, off the shoulder sweater look.

See you Wednesday! :)

PS: My hat is from Lack of Color (an Australian brand) and they are having a site wide sale of 25% off on September 20th!!

Top: Zara (similar here & here) / Denim: Levi’s / Pumps: Aquazurra / Bag: Saint Laurent / Sunglasses: J. Crew

Happy Friday!!

One of my fave brands Sézane opened a store in nyc and I’m so excited about it. I’ve already seen a couple pics from inside and it looks so cute. Last night I tried to go but they were having an event! So sad haha but I’m going to try again today :)

I thought it would be cute to pair my fave Aquazurra pumps with this Zara top. Everyone knows I’ll wear anything blue & white and striped so this top really called my name haha. Its really light and perfect for warm weather. It would also be super cute with a black denim skirt!

See you Monday :)

nyfw3.1

Some of my favorite looks from NYFW this season were monochromatic (one more below) which is pretty surprising since I never really rock a monochromatic look myself! But I am just obsessed with this all emerald look by Jenny Cipoletti, topped off by the matching YSL, ugh just perfect. Althoughhh I am definitely not a fan of the tiny sunglasses trend these ones work with Jenny’s whole aesthetic.

nyfw4

Okay how to dieeeee is this look from the Brandon Maxwell SS18 show worn by Gigi Hadid. Seriously she looks like Cinderella. Plus she’s wearing another trend I love for the Fall: fuzzy sweaters! I love how its styled here with the amazing long skirt. This look is obviously super formal but if you pair it with a more casual maxi skirt you can def rock it during the day. Check below!

nyfw1.1

I was honestly so surprised by how much I loved JoJo’s NYFW looks! She looked so good but I particularly loved this one – again in that monochromatic theme. The colors and stripes are amazing for Fall and I am also loving the blazer and dress pants in general.

nyfw2.1

Loooooved this look from Arielle Charnas! Probably because its all camel, my fave color! It’s just so comfy and Fall. I also really like how all the pieces aren’t the exact same color but similar – it just gives it a bit more of an edge. Recently I am loving pairing sweaters with high waisted pants like this – really flattering and comfy!

nyfw5

Okay this look was like the perfect blend of crazy NYFW look but also doable in real life! Haha I am just in love with this jacket paired with the girlfriend jeans. I will say though I am not the biggest fan of these sunnies! I just can’t get on board with the tiny sunglasses trend. I would pair this look though with a bit more of a casual shoe. Definitely I would still stick with a mule but the ones here are a bit too much for me. Check out what I found below.
