Happy Monday!

I flew into Hawaii last night after a solid 48 hours of traveling buuuuut I couldn’t be happier to be here!! Ugh I wish I could move here seriously its so beautiful. We hiked Nakalele Point in the morning and it was amaze. Its raining now so we’re headed to the bar to watch some basketball!

Also last night raaaaandomly I saw Jason Mesnick from the Bachelor at the restaurant we were at and again on our hike! He’s the original Bachelor that broke up with the girl he proposed to then married the runner up like 10 years ago. I’m a huge Bachelor fan so I freaked lolol. And last time I was in Maui I spotted Carly Waddell and Evan Bass who got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise. Its a record for random Bachelor celebrity sightings haha.

Anywayyyy I’ve been trying to branch out of my comfort zone lately – normally I would never consider overalls but I loved the pattern on these and they’re soooo comfy. Definitely do not regret this purchase! I’ve worn them a couple times with sweaters, long sleeve tees, but my fave is with an off the shoulder top like here. I always recommend wearing heels with wide leg looks because the wide leg can often make you look short or with weird proportions. I’ll definitely be wearing these in Hawaii!

See you Wednesday!

Happy Thursday!

Normally I never wear sequins but for some reason this top spoke to me lol. Its pretty cropped though so I needed some super high waisted denim with them. Urban always has a solid selection of denim thats pretty good quality. Not suuuper cheap but definitely doable!

I’m in Mexico this week to celebrate my four year anniversary with my boyfriend! We’ve pretty much been laying low this week and relaxing – next week I head off to Hawaii and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve got some super cute looks planned so stay tuned :)

Happy Friday!

You may have seen I flew to Colorado last night! I’m here for the weekend to visit my mom for her birthday. I always love coming home lol but I definitely miss the puppy!

I bought this dress to wear for a golf tournament I went to in February in Phoenix! Since it was pretty expensive I definitely wanted to be able to wear it more than once. I love putting a denim jacket over it with sneakers – it really dresses it down and makes it wearable during the day.

I have so many trips coming up I’m so excited! After this weekend in Colorado I am heading back down to Mexico to celebrate my anniversary! Where I’ll probably wear this dress lol.

See you Monday!

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a fun Paddy’s Day – I definitely did! I surprised one of my best friends for her birthday in Phoenix and it was amazing.

So there is a little bit of a backstory with this vest. My godmother who passed away when I was around 13 owned this amazing red fox coat. I grew up obsessed with it and when I got older I still loved it and wanted to wear it not only because its amazing but because it made me feel closer to my godmother. However, it was in pretty bad condition and the whole coat was kind of a lot so I decided to take it to a furrier – side note lol about the fact that people who work on furs are called furriers – and she was able to take off the sleeves and make it into a vest! She had to also do a little bit of repairs on the body but it still turned out amazing and completely refurbished!

I’m so happy I was able to restore my godmother’s fur because I will be wearing this vest for as many years as I can!

See you Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday Trendsday!

So I’m re watching Outlander and scanning every shopping website there is lolol. I have a few trips coming up so I’m planning looks for them and in my searches I’ve discovered soooo many cute things so I had to share! Its always hard to transition seasons but I tend to lean toward the warmer pieces because I hate being cold. I’m obsessed with these DVF pants and loooove this midi skirt from Free People.

See you Friday!

Happy Monday!

I literally stayed home all weekend, ate junk food and watched Friends haha. But I really needed it because now I’m feeling pretty motivated to get it together. I have so much to plan for the upcoming weeks. First I’m heading home to Colorado to see my mom for her birthday and after that I’m headed back to Mexico for my anniversary! Yay!

When we shot this look I remember thinking this is either the cutest top I’ve ever worn or the ugliest hahah. I’ve been into the pajama trend but not both pieces together. When you wear the pajama top with the pajama bottom its a lot haha. This pattern is just so different and something I really don’t have anything like so I decided to go for it! Plus its silk and sooo soft and nice.

I’ve linked below some other pajama tops that are super cute.

See you Wednesday!

Happy Monday!

Wow what a weekend let me tell you I have never partied like that in my whole life hahaha. I’m not a huge partier so I was kind of nervous about Vegas but it was soooo much fun. I already can’t wait for our next reunion.

So I got this whole look from Zara! Each piece is a different texture – the top is silk, skirt is faux leather, and booties are faux snake skin. I love this combo because the top and booties are really unexpected together.

Also side note – how cute is Venice. I would love to live there, those houses are adorable and its so beachy. Parking is not as cute though lol.

See you Wednesday! :)

Tiny Sunnies1

Tiny sunnies are the worst. I think they are super tacky and just remind me of The Matrix hahah. They’re not flattering at all – buuuut what is super flattering and what you should be wearing instead are some classic black cat eye sunglasses. These look so good on everyone and go with every outfit. Check out some of my faves below!

Fanny1

What is the point of fanny packs. Honestly it must feel like you are wearing a utility belt hahah. There can’t be a lot you can put in them cause if it gets too heavy it would fall! What I am loving instead is wallet on a chain bags. They are tiny and cute and perfect for a night out. Whats also great about these bags is that they are pretty affordable! I just got one for Christmas and I’ve been obsessed with it. I love these ones below.

Sneaks1

What the heckkkkk is going on with these ugly ass sneakers hahah. I’m all for sneakers I love them but designers are trying to bring back this sneaker style that reminds me of something a third grade boy would wear. Pls steer clear – I hope this trend doesn’t last long lol. What I’m into instead is some old school Vans. I’m loving this style lately – its cute but still a bit edgy.

Happy Monday!

I can’t believe I’ve taken this much time off blogging. There’s nothing I love more than putting together looks, blogging, and shooting but the past couple months have been a difficult time for me. I felt like I couldn’t really pretend to be happy on the internet if I didn’t truly feel happy in real life. Buuuut I’m getting through things and even though its corny, telling myself to -just keep swimming-

I was so happy to get back into shooting and this time around I’m trying to get more creative with my looks. I used to be soooo crazy and daring when putting outfits together and I feel like I’ve been so boring lately! I got this dress off Amazon! How random but sometimes I’ll search brands I like on Amazon and they have some cute styles that aren’t available anywhere else.

I do have some exciting events coming up like this weekend my friends from high school and I are all going to Las Vegas. I’ve never done Vegas like just with friends its always been with family so this time will be super fun! And I’ve been putting together some fun looks for the weekend. Can’t wait to share!

See you Wednesday :)

Happy Monday!

Today I am forcing the positive vibes lol. Do you ever have a ton of tiny things to get done and you just put them off but they linger over you? Well I have a long list of those things and today I am making myself be productive and crossing them all off the list.

With the start of the new year I was so excited for a reset. We had our new life in a new city with a new apartment and new puppy. Things were going to be amazing – our life was going to be so much fuller and things were really going to start happening in both mine and my boyfriend’s careers. I was so motivated and ready for this new era, and then a huge obstacle was set in front of me. It was so discouraging. Its been hard for me to pick up the pieces and get back on track – you may have noticed I haven’t been as active on insta in the last week or so. Luckily I am surrounded by great friends, family, and a sweet new pup. I am still searching for reasoning in this difficult time and hoping that all the things I was wishing for this year will still come true.

Let’s be productive, happy, motivated, and excited for the future, no matter what obstacles stand in front of us today :)

See you Wednesday!
